A connected account is not required, the plugin get your comments from public json data like this:
https://graph.facebook.com/comments/?ids=http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/comments/

I’ve installed the plugin but I don’t understand how it is expected to connect to my Facebook account with me first hooking it up.
I clicked “Check in the last 10 posts”, but it found none.
